Project Literacy Among Youth (PLAY)

Project Literacy Among Youth (PLAY) is an educational project that I established in 1999 during my dual stint as a media and technology consultant for the Media Workshop New York by day and an NYU doctoral student in Media Ecology by night. I named this unique approach to professional development PLAY to showcase the creative yet critical ways in which young people can and do use a variety of media technologies. Here you can find teaching and learning resources as well as our current catalog of professional development offerings. [learn more].
