To commemorate the 4th annual U.S. Media Literacy Week in the United States (Nov 5-9), I will host and moderate a special screening of “Adam Ruins Everything” (truTV) on Election Day (Tuesday, November 6th) at Montclair State University. This is a partnership between the COMM+MEDIA Research Collaboratory (which I founded) and the National Association for Media Literacy Education (I served on the Board of Directors) and truTV. I will update this page following the event.
Media Literacy Week brings together hundreds of partners for events and activities around the United States. This important initiative has the support of a large group of partnering organizations and media literacy experts from all over the country who are dedicated and passionate about media literacy education. In “Adam Ruins Everything” host and investigative comedian Adam Conover embarks on a comically inventive yet unrelentingly serious quest to reveal the hidden truths behind everything you know and love. Tackling topics ranging from the workplace and voting to forensic science and security, he gives you not just fun facts to share with your friends, but information that will make you see the world in a whole new way. If knowledge is power, then Adam Conover will have you laughing all the way to the top.
